About Your Host: Lamia, Queen of the Dark, is the extraordinary host of Horror Hotel. As the first vampire, Lamia has lived through millennia, experiencing history first-hand. With the birth of cinema, she realized there was an outlet for those of her kind. Creatures of the night could be accepted in the weird world of horror movies. Her passion for cinema grew stronger over time, and her love of horror in particular brought her here to the show. As someone who watched horror movies in their infancy, she has a nostalgic love for classic horror movies in particular, but she also loves supporting independent filmmakers as they grow their craft and share in her love of horror.

From the columned temples of Ancient Greece
To Transylvania's mountains, steep--
Across the oceans, deep and vast,
She settled in the New World at last...
And there established her vampire realm,
As the mortal world was overwhelmed
By the wonders she shared each Saturday
With her minions, near and far away.
